Walking your dog at Stour Valley

Guidance on bringing your dogs to Kingfisher Barn
Dogs are welcome to the site but must be under control – see the Dorset Dogs Doggy Do Code. Along the river there are several dog priority beaches and we allow well behaved dogs into the wildlife garden (on leads) but only assist dogs in the Visitor Centre. Please take a look at our formal policies here.

Only registered assistance dogs can come into the Visitor Centre, but we do have lots of paw-fect shady spots to tether them outside whilst you have a quick peak.
Other places to walk your dog
If you're looking for other spots to walk your pooch, Take a look at our 'Bournemouth Walks for you and your dog' leaflet.
